Making the photograph too clean makes it WAY boring.The camera has always been my favorite toy.The only times I've been bored with photography were when I've tried to turn the toy into a tool.Other than to make me happy, the only successes I can claim with photography were accomplished because of my mentors Jack Welpott, Judy Dater, and Imogen Cunningham, who got my documentary art published and hung in galleries.Warren Buffett says,"Life is like a snowball; the important thing is finding wet snow and a really long hill."Doing glamour photography with some of the world's most beautiful women is my wet snow, and it's also helping me l-e-n-g-t-h-e-n that hill.
Throughout most of my forty years in photography, I have produced primarily documentary art, a selection of which you will find in the Vintage Gallery. In recent years, I have concentrated primarily on glamour images, and subsequently have had the privilege of working with some of the world's most beautiful models. Those images form the bulk of this portfolio.
